Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Ltd (TNSTC) and State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) have announced recruitment for 438 Graduate Apprentices, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, and Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices for 2024. This recruitment, under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, offers a one-year apprenticeship training for eligible graduates and diploma holders across various TNSTC regions such as Villupuram, Salem, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, and Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate Apprentices (Engineering): Applicants must hold a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university with First Class. Eligible disciplines include Mechanical, Automobile, Civil, Computer Science, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A full-time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized State Council, Board, or University.
- Non-Engineering Apprentices: A full-time degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BCA, BBM from a UGC-recognized university.
Age Limit:
The age limit will follow the Apprenticeship Rules. Reservation policies apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per government norms.
Stipend
- Graduate Apprentices (Engineering and Non-Engineering): Rs. 9,000/- per month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs. 8,000/- per month
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be shortlisted by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) based on marks obtained in their respective qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through their registered email and will be required to undergo certificate verification at TNSTC, Salem.
