Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Territorial Army Western Command Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Age: Candidates should be between 18 to 42 years old as of the recruitment date.
Educational Qualification:
- Soldier (General Duty): Class 10th/Matric pass with at least 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
- Soldier (Clerk): 10+2 in any stream with 60% aggregate marks and at least 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12 is mandatory.
- Soldier Tradesmen (All Trades): Class 10th pass with at least 33% in each subject.
- Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 8th pass with 33% in each subject.
Physical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 160 cm (157 cm for candidates from the Eastern Indian Himalayan Region, Domicile Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Ladakhis).
- Chest: Minimum 82 cm (77 cm unexpanded).
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards.
Certain candidates may be eligible for relaxations in physical standards, such as sons of servicemen, war widows, or outstanding sportsmen who can receive height relaxations of 2-3 cm.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should report to the recruitment rally site by 02:00 AM. No entry will be permitted after 05:00 AM. Candidates must carry the following documents:
