Vacancy Details

The total number of vacancies available for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade II is 51.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:

   - Candidates must possess a B.L. Degree from a recognized university or institution.

   - Candidates must be a member of the Bar and should have active practice in Criminal Courts for at least 5 years.

   - Adequate knowledge of Tamil is required.

2. Age Limit:

   - The minimum age for candidates is 26 years. 

   - Maximum age limit for candidates in the "Others" category (excluding SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, and BCMs) is 36 years.

   - For candidates in the SC/ST and other reserved categories, there is no maximum age limit.

   - Persons with Benchmark Disability and Ex-Servicemen will have additional age concessions as per TNPSC rules.

Pay Scale

The pay scale for the position of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade II is under Level 22 as per the Tamil Nadu government pay matrix.
