Assam Rifles is looking to fill 38 positions for the role of Rifleman/Riflewoman (General Duty) under the Sports Quota. The breakdown of vacancies is as follows:

• 19 male vacancies
• 19 female vacancies

 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the post of Rifleman/Riflewoman (GD), candidates must meet the following educational and age qualifications:

- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the 10th standard and possess a valid sports certificate.

- Age Limit: Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23 years.

Sports Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet the sporting qualifications based on the following criteria:

- Athletics: Participation in National/International level competitions.

- Boxing: Representation at Junior or Senior National Championships.

- Football: Participation in recognized state-level tournaments or higher.

- Hockey: Representation at the National level or recognized tournaments.

- Wrestling: Participation in National level competitions.

- Weightlifting: Representation at the State level or higher.

- Badminton, Basketball, Cricket: Participation in National/State level tournaments.

- Other Sports: Eligibility as defined by the respective sports authorities.
