To be eligible for the apprenticeship program, candidates must have completed a degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. The degree must have been obtained between April 1, 2020, and August 1, 2024. As of August 1, 2024, candidates should be between 20 and 28 years old. Age relaxations are available as per the Government of India guidelines: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and up to 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
The monthly stipend for apprentices varies based on the location of the posting:
- ₹15,000 per month for metro areas
- ₹12,000 per month for urban areas
- ₹10,000 per month for semi-urban or rural areas
The application fee for the apprenticeship program is as follows:
- PwBD: ₹472 (including GST)
- Female/SC/ST: ₹708 (including GST)
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹944 (including GST)
The application fees are non-refundable and must be paid online.
