UPSC Recruitment 2024: Vacancy for Accounts Officer (General Central Service, Group 'IV', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)

 

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of Accounts Officer (General Central Service, Group 'IV', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) on a deputation basis (including short-term contract).  Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the UPSC Accounts Officer position:

(A)

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

2. With two years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-8 in the Pay Matrix (₹47600-151100) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

(B)

Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

1. Passed Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by organized Accounts Department of the Central Government and two years' experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work;

   -OR-

2. Successfully completed training in Cash and Accounts work conducted by the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent and five years' experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work.

 Age Limit:
