The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a short notification on July 19, 2024, for the recruitment of Grade B officers. A total of 94 vacancies are available for Generalist, DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research), and DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management) positions. Interested candidates can apply online from July 25 to August 16, 2024.
Available Vacancies:
- Grade B (General): 66 posts
- Grade B (DEPR): 21 posts
- Grade B (DSIM): 7 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
- Grade B (General): Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or Master's degree with at least 55% marks, aged between 21-30 years.
- Grade B (DEPR): Postgraduate degree in Economics/PGDM/MBA in Finance, aged between 21-30 years.
- Grade B (DSIM): Postgraduate degree in Mathematics/Statistics, aged between 21-30 years.
Application Fee:
- General, OBC, and EWS candidates: ₹850
- SC, ST, and PwD candidates: ₹100
- An additional 18% GST applies to all categories.
Selection Process:
The selection process for RBI Grade B includes five stages:
1. Preliminary written examination
2. Main written examination
3. Interview
4. Document verification
5. Medical examination
Candidates must pass each stage to progress to the next.

2. Navigate to "Opportunities@RBI" on the homepage.
3. Select "Current Vacancies" and then "Vacancies" to view available positions.
4. Read the detailed advertisement for RBI Grade B Officer Recruitment 2024.
5. Click on "New Registration" if you are a new user. Fill in the required details to complete the registration and obtain a provisional registration number and password.
6. Use the registration number and password to log in to the application portal.
7. Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and work experience as required.
8. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the specified format and size.
9. Pay the application fee using online payment options such as debit card, credit card, or net banking.
10. Review all the details in your application form, make necessary corrections, and click on "Final Submit." It is advisable to take a printout of the completed application for your records.
