The Indian Army has unveiled a new opportunity for aspiring candidates with technical expertise through its Short Service Commission (SSC) Tech Entry 2024 program. The program is set to commence in April 2025, offering positions across various technical disciplines. A total of 381 vacancies are up for grabs, catering to both male and female candidates.
The recruitment process is scheduled to begin on July 16 and will continue until August 14, 2024. Eligible candidates, unmarried and aged between 20 to 27 years, are invited to apply online via the official website join Indianarmy.nic.in.
Positions available include 350 vacancies for SSC (Tech) Men, 29 for SSC (Tech) Women, 1 for SSCW (Tech) and 1 for SSCW Non-Tech. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Engineering (B.Tech) or equivalent.
The selection process will involve multiple stages starting with the shortlisting of applications based on eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, followed by document verification and a medical examination.
There is no application fee for this recruitment drive. Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary ranging from ₹56100 to ₹177500 per month along with other benefits as per the Indian Army norms.
