Eastern Railway Announces Recruitment for Group 'C' Positions in Classical Vocal and Instrumental (Violin)

Eastern Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC-ER) has released a notification inviting applications for Group 'C' positions in Classical Vocal (Male) and Instrumental (Violin). There are a total of 2 vacancies available for eligible candidates aged between 18 to 30 years. 

Candidates applying for the Classical Vocal (Male) position must have passed 12th class or its equivalent with at least 50% marks. For the Instrumental (Violin) position, candidates should also meet the educational qualifications as per the norms specified.

The application process begins on July 12, 2024, and will conclude on August 11, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of Eastern Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC-ER). 

A non-refundable application fee is applicable:

- For General category candidates: Rs. 500

- For SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minority, and Economically Backward Classes candidates: Rs. 250

The selection process includes a written examination in the respective subjects followed by assessment of proficiency. Successful candidates in the written exam will proceed to the next phase based on cumulative scores from both stages. Medical examination by Railway Medical Authorities will be mandatory for final selection.
