The merger involves the indirect acquisition of American National Bank and Trust Company, headquartered in Danville, Virginia, by Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation based in Richmond, Virginia.


The Board's approval extends to the merger between Atlantic Union Bank and American National Bank, alongside granting permission for Atlantic Union Bank to establish and operate branches at various locations currently served by American National Bank.
