Amrit Bharat Express: Revolutionizing Passenger Comfort

Amrit Bharat Express stands out as a newly introduced train by Indian Railways, emphasizing passenger comfort. This train comprises non-AC second-class and sleeper coaches, tailored to cater to the needs of the common man. Operating on a push-pull technology with 6,000 HP WAP5 locomotives on both ends, it boasts a speed capacity of 130 km/h, gliding through push-pull technology-enabled tracks.

Vande Bharat Express: A Fully Air-Conditioned Chair Car Train

In contrast, Vande Bharat Express, already operational on several routes across the country, remains a fully air-conditioned chair car train. This self-propelled train operates at a speed capacity of 160 km/h, providing a comfortable and swift travel experience.

Modi's Flagging Off Ceremony

During his visit to Ayodhya, PM Modi flagged off two trains - Darbhanga-Delhi Amrit Bharat and Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat - at the Ayodhya Railway Station. Additionally, other trains were inaugurated through a video link. The Prime Minister will showcase six Vande Bharat trains and two Amrit Bharat trains departing from various railway stations across the nation.

Scheduled Departures and Route Details

The new trains are scheduled to commence their services on specific dates and routes. Notably, the Amrit Bharat Express will arrive at Bhadrak Station under the East Coast Railway (ECoR) zone at 9:58 PM on Saturday. Furthermore, these trains will traverse through various stations such as Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Berhampur, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, and conclude their journey at Visakhapatnam in the ECoR jurisdiction.

Features and Commencement Dates

The Amrit Bharat Train, featuring non-air-conditioned coaches, will operate on both ends with engines for improved speed. The ECoR's official statement highlighted its appealing design, better seating arrangements, enhanced amenities like mobile charging points with suitable mobile holders, LED lights, CCTVs, and a public information system. Regular services for this train will commence from Malda Town on January 7 and from Bengaluru on January 9.

 नई ट्रेनें विशिष्ट तिथियों और मार्गों पर अपनी सेवाएं शुरू करने वाली हैं। विशेष रूप से, अमृत भारत एक्सप्रेस शनिवार को रात 9:58 बजे ईस्ट कोस्ट रेलवे (ईसीओआर) जोन के तहत भद्रक स्टेशन पर पहुंचेगी। इसके अलावा, ये ट्रेनें भद्रक, कटक, भुवनेश्वर, खुर्दा रोड, बरहामपुर, श्रीकाकुलम, विजयनगरम जैसे विभिन्न स्टेशनों से होकर गुजरेंगी और ईसीओआर क्षेत्राधिकार में विशाखापत्तनम में अपनी यात्रा समाप्त करेंगी।

 गैर-वातानुकूलित कोचों वाली अमृत भारत ट्रेन, बेहतर गति के लिए दोनों छोर पर इंजन के साथ चलेगी। ईसीओआर के आधिकारिक बयान में इसके आकर्षक डिजाइन, बेहतर बैठने की व्यवस्था, उपयुक्त मोबाइल धारकों के साथ मोबाइल चार्जिंग पॉइंट, एलईडी लाइट, सीसीटीवी और एक सार्वजनिक सूचना प्रणाली जैसी उन्नत सुविधाओं पर प्रकाश डाला गया। इस ट्रेन की नियमित सेवाएं 7 जनवरी को मालदा टाउन से और 9 जनवरी को बेंगलुरु से शुरू होंगी।
