Today, on the 99th birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has organized commemorative events across the country to pay homage to the late leader. With next year marking his centenary, this year's celebrations hold a special significance.

Dignitaries Pay Homage

President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are slated to visit the "Sadaiv Atal" memorial to offer floral tributes. Senior leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP's National President JP Nadda, will also honor Vajpayee during the memorial events. Elaborate security measures have been put in place for the occasion.

Remembering Vajpayee's Legacy

Vajpayee's foster daughter Namita Kaul Bhattacharya and granddaughter Niharika are expected to pay their respects at his memorial.
